Today was interesting!

Talk about an adventure...it started with making a doctor's appt for Zach due to his poison ivy. It started to get worse so we felt we should get him to a doctor as soon as possible. It turned out that we had to wait until 6:30 pm but at least we got him an appointment. So, our group heads off to Honfleur but had to re-route due to a horrible accident. By the time we got there, we had about 2 hours but we had a blast. That town is SO beautiful!! We had a nice lunch after touring around and even riding a carousel!! This is when it got interesting or maybe I should say....frustrating...one group of us headed back toward Vimoutiers for the doctor's appointment. Well, for some crazy reason the GPS system was not getting us there. I suddenly felt like Chevy Chase in the European Vacation where he is circling Big Ben and Parliament but "can't get left". Well, we couldn't get across the bridge. We must have circled about 3 times so we finally called Casey. Anyway, after about an hour, we finally got across one of the many bridges that we passed by. (You have to understand the road system...it's not that easy!) By that time, we were too late to make the appointment but luckily, we landed in a town with a hospital. We got Zach to a doctor and all is well. After all that, our little group ended up in Lisieux for a well-deserved relaxing dinner and then we finally made it back "home" to Vimoutiers.

All in all, it was still a great day and we're glad everyone finally made it back to the cottage safely! Tune in later....
